We just wanted to issue a friendly reminder not to leave car keys and other valuables within easy sight or reach of potential thieves.

We spotted this story about a botched burglary recently, which brought the subject to our attention.

Despite the risks, so many people still leave car keys and house keys on window sills, hall tables and hooks by the front door.  Doing so makes your keys (and therefore your vehicle) easy pickings for any thief.
