Since 1981 Blackburn Alarms aim has been to deliver quality and from the valued feedback of our customers we believe we are achieving that goal and will continue to do so in the future.

Below are brief descriptions of our products and services:

INTRUDER ALARMS

We install and maintain intruder alarms to standards currently in force to comply with British Standards, Local Authority Standards and the ACPO Police Policy. Our systems come complete with prox tag option for arming/disarming the system and can cater for all types of premises from a simple domestic to a large industrial site.

DIGITAL CCTV

Our CCTV systems utilise the latest technology giving the customer many features which, although they may not have been aware of them, improve the performance of the system.
All our systems are able to be networked allowing easier viewing of the systems from many areas within the premises and externally via the internet if required.
Digital recording has eliminated the use of VCRs and tapes and delivers the same quality recorded as live pictures.
Systems can be interfaced allowing many cameras from different controllers throughout the premises to be viewed over one virtual system.

FIRE ALARMS

We can design a fire alarm to suit the Fire brigade requirements for all properties.
We install fire alarms to British Standards from simple systems to elaborate point ID where the control equipment will identify the source of the activation or fault down to a single unit.

MONITORING OF INTRUDER/CCTV/FIRE SYSTEMS

All our systems are fitted to the required standards to allow them to be monitored from an Automatic Receiving Centre (ARC).
This gives the customer the added assurance that, in the event of an activation or intrusion, the incident is dealt with promptly and efficiently with the correct response.

ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS

We install access control systems from simple door entry to computer based systems with hundreds of users and many door access points.
Access control can be achieved using simple call stations with release buttons to prox readers and even finger pint/retina scan ID.
In all cases the system is based on the customer�s requirements coupled with our expertise in the subject.

MAINTENANCE OF SYSTEMS

We offer maintenance contracts on all the systems we install. Where a system is monitored by an ARC it is mandatory that the system is on a current service maintenance contract.
A maintenance contract provides the following:

• Assures the customer the system is performing correctly
• Gives the customer technical back up
• Guarantees a response within an agreed time scale
• Provides a further parts/labour guarantee (on certain systems only)
